Jan Breckenridge

Jan Breckenridge has spent her long career concerned  with the effects of domestic violence and sexual assault on women and children. Her approach has been via research, in academia, books and publications, and teaching and training.

In 1992 she co-authored a book on rape and child sexual assault, Crimes of Violence. Since 2005 she has taught  specialist courses at School of Social Sciences at UNSW  relating to domestic violence and trauma.

Jozefa Sobski

Throughout her professional and voluntary career Jozefa Sobski has vigorously and effectively pioneered the elimination  of sex discrimination in the national education system, and led feminist campaigns in education and social policy.

Betty Ferguson

Betty Ferguson volunteered at the Canberra YWCA to share her knowledge and skills in fnance gained from nearly 30 years experience in public administration, education and training.She served on the YWCA Board, with fve years as Treasurer. Her involvement led to a greater understanding  of the usefulness of fnancial reports, and to better strategically negotiate the usability of assets.
